I will be travelling by public transport, is there a direct route from Salzburg airport? And if so how long will it take? I’m travelling for photography and I’m also wondering what the surroundings are like.

HI; you have to go to the trainstation and there is the bus nr.150 direct to Bad Ischl and you have to get out at the station Gniglerbauer kind regards Ingrid

No wifi but a nice quiet location
Very quiet picturesque location
No wifi. I would not have booked the room if I had known this before. I owner showed no interest in resolving that there was no wifi

Wonderful
Very friendly hostess. The stay was very familiar and nice, the location of the accommodation beautiful in nature. The city center was still close within 15 min by bus :-)

Nice somewhat remote but accessible location.
The pension is located out of the city on the hills and is close to nice hike/walk areas. During the day getting to city by bus is easy. It is also located in between the city and the lakes all of which are accessible by bus. I asked for vegan options for breakfast and I was very grateful that the host provided me with several options that she specifically got for me.
The bus gets much less frequent after 21:00 (one every hour 21:00-23:00), and there's almost no options to get groceries or dinner nearby.
